NEW HIGH TEMPERATURE MATERIALS
MMC now supplies N30UHT, a new class of sintered neodymium iron boron magnets for use at temperatures up to 200ºC. These magnets offer high to moderate maximum energy product, high intrinsic coercivity, Hci, and have straight-line extrinsic magnetization curves up to 200ºC.
Since they are made from Neodymium, one of the most plentiful rare earth elements, and inexpensive iron, this new class of sintered NdFeB magnets offers an lower cost alternative to SmCo magnets for some applications.
